Photographer FAQ’s – What Should I Ask My Photographer? – Jessi Marri Photography
With over 200 weddings under my belt, I have been asked a series of questions throughout the years I have been doing this. I wanted to compile them and share them with not just my brides and grooms, but with many of you out there who are on the hunt for your perfect wedding photographer or are about to meet with your photographer for the first time!
I know that planning your wedding is a lot of hard work. You might have a lot of questions and that’s okay! That is what your wedding vendors are here for – to answer your questions and help make your planning process a bit easier.
I truly hope that this Photographer FAQ post helps you and encourages you to ask the questions that need to be asked during your wedding planning. (Also, some of these questions in this post could be used during some of your other consultations with your other vendors!)
The Photographer FAQ’s:
How long have you been a photographer?
Do you shoot film or digital?
Do you bring a second photographer or assistant?
Are my photos edited?
How soon after the wedding do I get to see my photos?

What if something happens and you can’t make it to my wedding?
Who owns the copyrights to my photos?
How many photos will you take? Is there a limit?
What is the cancellation policy after we book?
What’s the deposit required to book my date?
Will my guests be able to order prints? How?
What type of clothing will you be wearing at my wedding?
